Soundtrack Cowl - Intro to Slip Stitch Colorwork
New to color work? Get your start in this 2-session class to make the Soundtrack Cowl! In it, you’ll learn the slip stitch, and some techniques for knitting in the round.
Materials:
- Soundtrack Cowl pattern by Elizabeth Smith available here
- 180 yards each of 2 contrasting colors of worsted weight yarn (wool or wool blend suggested)
- US 8 and US 7 24” circular needles, US 4 or US 3 for bind off
- Stitch marker
- Tapestry needle
NOTE: Please come to class having stitches cast on (long tail recommended), 1.5 inches of 2x2 ribbing complete, then two rows of knitting with Color A, all with US 7 needle.
