KNIT THIS NEXT - Beginner's Sampler Scarf (Saturdays)
In this class, you’ll complete a beautiful scarf showcasing several popular stitch patterns, all made with knits and purls. The Beginner's Stitch Sampler Scarf will help build on your new skills and makes for a perfect first complete project.
Materials (please purchase all materials from Hooked at least 1 hour prior to the first class):
Patterns: Beginner's Stitch Sampler Scarf (FREE in store and/or on Ravelry
Yarn: Worsted weight yarn** (350 yards)
Knitting Needles: US 8 24-inch circulars
Tools/Notions: scissors, measuring tape, stitch markers, and darning needle.
HOMEWORK: Please have the required number of stitches (30 stitches) cast on prior to arriving for the first session. Extra Credit: If you're feeling daring, please go ahead and knit the first 2 sections.
Our Knit This Next classes are specially designed for our newly minted knitters who have completed the Learn to Knit classes. All projects under this series will be curated with the new knitter in mind.
**We will have yarn recommendations for you that should accommodate any budget. We encourage you to choose lighter, solid or semi-solid colored yarn for these projects.
