Norah's Vintage Afghan: A Cabled Blanket Project Class

Get ready to challenge your cable knitting skills! This dedicated project class provides four unstructured sessions of help to knit this 20-piece afghan.

Whether you're picking out your color palette or assembling the afghan, you can come to the session and get help at any stage. Plus, you'll get some tips on best practices (i.e. keeping track of your blocks, fixing cables, etc.) and instruction as needed. As this afghan is quite an undertaking, this class provides accountability, support, and encouragement to work on the project and complete it at your own pace.

Each 2-hour session is scheduled at every other week, giving you some time to work on the piece and not feel rushed.

Materials Needed:
- The pattern is available for free here.*
- 4 hanks each of 5 colors of Vintage or another worsted weight yarn (872 yards of each color, 4360 yards total)
- US 7 needle 24"+ circular needles (or size to obtain gauge)
- Cable needle
- G (4.5mm) crochet hook**
- Tapestry needle
