Learn to Knit - September (Thursdays)
Our Learn to Knit class is a true beginner class for those looking to venture into the world of knitting, and also a great refresher for those who may have knit in the past and want to come back. You will learn how to cast-on, knit and purl, as well as a basic understanding of yarn weights, beginner knitting terminology and more!
Materials (please bring all materials to the first class):
- Yarn: 1 skein Berroco Vintage yarn or any worsted weight (avoid dark shades like black, navy blue, or dark grey)
- Knitting Needles: US 8 Interchangable circular knitting needles (short tips), 16″ and 24" Interchangable needle cords, and US 8 double pointed needles (DPNS)
- Tools/Notions: scissors, measuring tape, stitch markers, and tapestry needle

| Skill Details: | No prior skills necessary. May have had prior experience, but not practiced in over 5 years. All our Learn to Knit and Learn to Crochet classes will have this skill level recommendation. |
