Emotional Support Chicken

Join in on the fun of making these super popular creatures for yourself or someone who need a little extra love.
Materials:
- Pattern: Emotional Support Chicken by The Knitting Tree, LA (purchase in-store or on Ravelry)
- Yarn: Any Worsted Weight Yarns - Main Color: 200 yards, Contrast Color: 100 yards, Yellow* yarn for beak: 4 yards, Red* yarn for comb and wattle: 6 yards - *These are recommendations only - feel free to make this with worsted weight yarn scraps for a truly unique and fun chicken.
- Needles: US 7 or size required to get the desired density of fabric (You'll want a denser fabric so stuffing does not come out
- Other Materials: 1 pair 15mm safety eyes (or dark yarn for sewn eyes). 250 g of polyfill stuffing
- Notions: removable stitch markers and tapestry needle
This pattern is an intermediate to advanced level project. Participants must understand or know how to work with short rows.
