Granny Square Workshop

Grannie Square Workshop  - One (2 hour Session)

In this class we begin with 2 techniques to start your granny square and how to make your granny square have a more finished look.This workshop is designed to enjoy changing colors within your granny square as well as using your scrapes from home to make a granny square. Granny squares can be as simple as one color, 3 colors or even explored a closed granny square technique.

The tradition granny square is back and individuals can choose from fibers in the fingering weight to worsted weight category. Once we explore the kind of fiber of your granny square, the color and or colors of your granny square we will then use techniques to makes your granny square. We will start from the beginning -developing your granny square as well as finishing techniques.

Materials List - for the Granny Square Workshop - You may either bring leftover yarn from home (Scrapes) which is approximately 100 grams of yarn  or Purchase from Hooked -  a DK or Worsted weigh yarn of 2-3 colors to make your granny squares. You will also need to bring hooks from home that match the yarn weight or purchase a hook from Hooked that matches the yarn you purchase. Look at the ball band to get the recommended Hook size.
