Summer Lace - Some Me Time

OUR SUMMER LACE SHAWL CLASS IS BACK! A lace shawl is a perfect summer cover up or layer while walking along the shore or boardwalk at sunset. This summer, we have chosen the Some Me Time pattern by Joji Locatelli.

This shawl offers two yarn weight versions. Choose the sport weight version in a non-wool yarn for a lighter cover-up, or the DK weight version in wool for a more sumptuous and warming cover up. Either version calls for 700 yards.

Materials:

Pattern – Some Me Time by Joji Locatelli – available for purchase in-store or on Ravelry

Yarns: Sport Weight version: 700 yards sport weight yarn/ DK weight version: 700 yards DK weight (see yarn recommendations below)

Needles: Sport Weight version: US6/ DK weight version: US8 – or the needle size you need to obtain gauge (Sport Weight – 17 sts x 36 rows = 4” or DK weight – 15 sts x 30 rows = 4”)

Notions: scissors, stitch markers, tapestry needles and tape measure.

EXTRA NOTES:
- Please come to class with all materials and gauge swatch that matches the pattern.
- This class will run for 4 weeks (June 13, 20, 27 and July 11 - we will not meet on July 4)

We request that all materials be purchased from the shop no later than 24 hours prior to the start of the class.
