Worsted Boxy Sweater - Tuesday Morning

The Worsted Boxy is an oversized sweater with a boxy fit in the body and fitted arms. We will be making the seamed version.
Some techniques covered include short rows (wrap & turn), 3-needle-bind off, and picking up stitches.
This design requires a lot of stockinette, so please make sure you put aside an adequate amount of time outside of class to complete these areas in pace with the class. Please note: there is a break between the first and second sessions and the fourth and fifth sessions where we will not be meeting to give time to complete the stockinette and catch up.
Please have a gauge swatch knit and blocked (see pattern for special instructions), so needle size is determined prior to the class.
Materials Needed:
- A copy of the pattern (purchase here or at the shop)
- 950 - 1400 yards worsted weight yarn (Rios is suggested)
- US 9 (5.5mm) circular needles (32” - 40”) for body, US 7 (4.5mm) circular needles (16”, 24” or dpns) for neckband and sleeves, or sizes to meet gauge (having either multiple sets or needle tips/cables will be helpful, so you can work on the front and the back separately and simultaneously)
- Stitch markers
- Stitch holders (i.e. remnant yarn, barber cords, extra needle cables, etc)
- Tapestry needle
- Extra needle for 3-needle-bind off
