The Art of Crochet - Learn to Crochet 102A, 102B,:

Come join our Crochet Class to create a canvas with fiber and a hook in learning the art of crochet. The art of crochet has a deep history and meaning for many people and their cultures dating back to the 1600’s. Let’s continue the history by developing your crochet skills and methods so you can create items and projects to use for yourself and also share with others.

Beginner Crochet 102A - Your first class will consist of learning the fundamentals with the four basic stitches in crochet. We will also expand on two of those stitches by looking at the anatomy of crochet stitches. Your at home work will be creating your stitches in sample swatches with your stitches.

Beginner Crochet 102B- Your second class will consist of examining the breakdown of reading and following the structure of crochet abbreviation, patterns, diagrams/charts

Crochet is an art that continues to develop and expand, from the ongoing and never ending granny squares to the advanced crochet method of crochet brioche. Come get started in your beginner crochet class to learn for the first time or as a refresher class. 

Materials recommended:

Hooks: Knitter’s Pride Zing or Prym Ergonomics - Sizes I, 7, J or K

Fiber: 1 skein of Simpliworsted by Hikoo  (Pick a lighter shade to see your stitches)
