Pressed Flowers Shawl

With over 1,800 projects made, this pattern is one of the most popular shawls on Ravelry.  Mosaic knitting is a great way to play with colorwork without having to hold two or more colors in your hands.  Working with one color per row, the slipped stitches provide the texture and color-play that is truly satisfying and enjoyable.

In this class, you will have the option to knit the shawl as written, or learn how to modify it into a bandana cowl. Plus, this pattern is versatile enough to be made with either wool or plant-based fibers.

Materials:
Pattern: Pressed Flowers Shawl by Amy Christoffers (in-store or on Ravelry)
Yarn: 2 colors of contrasting yarn (MC: 550 yards, CC: 450 yards) (ideally 1 yarn is a gradient/variegated yarn and the other yarn a solid/semi-solid)
Needles: US 6 or size needed to make gauge (20 sts by 38 rows  = 4” x 4” in garter and pattern stitch)
Notions: stitch markers, tapestry needle, tape measure
