Learn to Embroider (3 Sessions) - June 2023
This historic art form has made a colorful comeback, and we love Rebecca Ringquist's Dropcloth Samplers - a modern take on the traditional "sampler"-style project.
Students will learn how to choose supplies, prepare their materials, and begin stitching. We'll be using Rebecca Ringquist's "Original Sampler," available at Hooked, to learn and practice stitching techniques. We will help you pick the right sizes and styles of needles, hoops, threads, flosses and other materials for your project, all available for purchase at the shop.
We'll begin with the basics and learn everything you need to know to get started with hand embroidery in this fun patent-pending* 3-part masterclass series with our friendly embroidery artist, Katherine.
